What is a Christian Science Reading Room?

It’s a place where lives can be changed. Similar to a library or bookstore, a Reading Room offers a place to read, pray, and get inspired. It’s a space where many have been healed by studying the lessons of the Bible and nurturing a connection with God.

The Christian Science Reading Room is a facility operated as a public service by a Christian Science church in the community where that church exists.

The local branches of The Mother Church (The First Church of Christ, Scientist) in Boston, Massachusetts, maintain these rooms as a place where one may study and contemplate the Bible and Christian Science literature in a quiet atmosphere, similar to a library.

Reading Room Hours

Opens one half hour prior to services and stays open one half hour following the service.
